To be a woman is to be a safe space.
I think I became a woman over the summer. You see I can now look at myself and admit baby, I love you, but I don’t like you. Not right now. Things must change. And they will. The power is there, claim and own it.

I must be real by being honest. I’m not the best daughter, sibling, nor friend but what is mine, is yours, always.
